Announcements

The annual apple butter boiling for the Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale will be held September 8th and 15th at Friendship Park in Stuarts Draft. Activities start early and end late, so stop by whenever works for you.

There is also a need for many more baked goods for this year’s Relief Sale so please donate generously!

Our 2012 Penny Power donations will be split evenly between tornado relief work in West Liberty, KY and Mennonite Central Committee’s ongoing relief efforts in the Middle East countries of Syria and Lebanon.

Please Prayer For:

  • Those affected by Hurricane Isaac.
  • The Shenk and Harlow families as they welcome new babies to their families.
  • Susan Huyard and family as she undergoes treatment for breast cancer.

Colossians 1:28b, “So that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.”

Thank you for joining us in worship today.  If this is your first time at Staunton Mennonite,
please fill out the “Welcome” card in the back of the pew and place it in the offering plate.
