*Today’s offering will be split evenly between Virginia Mennonite Missions and Virginia Mennonite Conference.

Church council will meet this Wednesday at 7:30. Nelson devotions.

Mennonite Women of Staunton will be participating in a yard sale at the Buckhorn Inn on May 16th from 7 am to 1 pm Please have any items for donation to the church by Wednesday so that they can be priced and sorted, or to the Buckhorn by Saturday morning if already priced. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for those interested in pricing items Friday evening or staffing the yard sale on Saturday.

The popular Mennonite a cappella group Sons of the Day will be leading our worship here at SMC on Sunday the 17th of May during our normal worship time. This is a good opportunity to invite friends to church. Following the service we will have a carry-in meal and ask you to bring plenty of food to share with our guests.

Prayer Concerns

  • Please pray for Peggy Blosser as the doctors and nursing staff try to regulate her medication.
  • Pray for the mothers and fathers of our community bringing up children, the leaders of tomorrow.
